Beauty in the Eye of One Beholder

Once upon a time in the recesses of my infantile mind I conjured a likeness of my Goddess, a vision that opinions would try to influence, steal from me the perceived Divine. She would not hide and could not stay away from my good nature like a lioness awaiting her prey.
A star fallen from the sky for me to hold on tight. Such a beauty I would surrender any fight, and melt into her arms drinking in the night . In a passions rage defy the impending light, refuse any vindication choosing wrong from right.
Adoring eyes that only her innocents could out shine, raven hair fallen around her pouting lips how could I vie to loose sight of this for a taste of heaven concealed in her kiss. Fantasy yes, indeed it may be, but I will hold tight this thread like a life line of hope. Living my life without her I am desperate and anxious at the end of sanity’s rope.
To consider my end on this lonely planet never knowing her fragrance, to a flower so sweet. I try to admire in comparison, something substantial in this world would even fail to hold a candle. It’s said that only fools dare to dream. Until the day when I can hold my beloved here in reality, then a maladjusted fool I will gladly be, restrained only by my mortality. She is with me, my shadow, always…
